First Impressions – Aveda Botanical Kinetics

Over the past few months, I started to pay less and less attention to my skin, which I'm starting to regret  now since I'm getting breakouts more than usual and my make-up isn't applying the same as before.  Having good skin can defiantly be a weight off your shoulders! Treating your skin will make you feel good internally and externally just like have good hair and a good diet.

One thing I love about these Aveda products is that they are plant based. So not only are you saving your skin but you are also saving the environment. Everything is completely organic, from the packaging down to each ingredient. The formula is also very lightweight and does not contain a strong fragrance.  So far, I'm loving how the products work with my skin, which is a combination to oily by the way. It detox's  my skin by giving me pimples in uncommon areas. After the first two weeks, my skin cleared up very well and is always left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Now on to my daily routine:

Botanical Kinetics Purifying Gel Cleanser

Starting off with cleansing my face, I use a small bit of warm water and then begin with cleansing my neck and decollete in circular motions. Then moving on to my face, I take another pump of the gel cleanser and rub it into my skin using only my middle and ring fingers. The skin on your face is very sensitive and its best to rub gently to avoid any more complications.

Botanical Kinetics Toning Mist

After rinsing off my cleanser, I then go in with the balancing toner. This is my first time really using a toner and it is great for refreshing my skin. I absolutely love the smell of this toner! It's calming but still awakening. After spritzing it onto my skin and neck, I then lightly tap it in and allow my skin to absorb the rest.

Botanical Kinetics Intense Hydrating Creme

The last thing I do is moisturize my face with the intense moisturizing soft cream.  The soft cream is usually for those who have oily skin but you can also use it if you have dry skin or if you're still oily in certain areas. A little goes a long way with this cream, it's not too thick but just enough for me to apply a small amount each use.
